Between bombs!

English:
One of the most holy places in the World don't hide some of sad chapter of the history.
I went at the city of Hippos, also known as Susita, today, just ruins. That place was founded during the Hellenistic period in the second century BCE. Probably, Hippos was victimized for an earthquake.

Centuries later, Susita Montains, beside the Sea of Galille, was one of the places where happened one of the battles the Isreal's War of Independence, in 1948. This war happened because the Arabic neighbors didn't accept the new State of Israel.

I believe that you know that, bordering Israel, there Arabic countries  and until now there are some conflict between them about occupied territories.
One of most recent fighting, was in 1967, in the Six Day War, where some members of Ein Gev Kibbutz, took that place for defend the north of Israel from Síria.
Now, the consequences of that histories still are there: mines!!

Every year, in the middle of a road surrounded by mines, Kibbutz Ein Gev, promotes an running to remember those fact, but, above all, claim the peace.
In the end of the path, the sunset. Thank you Lord!
I was there to register this moment, and, this is one of mine most moving histories.
Thank you all!
